  7. You can fry them like that but i like to egg wash
  8. Then coat in breadcrumbs it add crunchiness
  9. Fry in hot oil till both sides brown n put on paper towel to drain excess oil
  10. You can serve like this or in sauce
  11. For the sauce
  12. Fry the onion and garlic till brown
  13. Add grated tomatoes and tomato paste and cook for 3 mins
  14. Add two cups water and the bayleaf and dilute the cornflour in alittle water to thicken the sauce.season with salt
  15. Add the meatballs and sugar cook for 5 minutes and serve

Heat the oil in a stainless steel saucepan. Add the sliced onion and the crushed garlic, toss until coated.
