Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add the olive oil. To brown the meatballs, heat olive oil in a heavy pot or large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove and drain on a paper towel after each batch. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic and cook for a few minutes, or until translucent.

  3. Let tomatoes cook well under on medium low heat…….add a little water for soup if you like……then add your deep fried meat balls…..let them cook a little bit…
  4. Before removing from fire…… garnish with coriander…..and serve……I like mine with spaghetti……..you can also serve with rice, chapati

To freeze separately, put the sauce into freezer bags, but open-freeze the uncooked meatballs on a tray, then wrap in cling film once hard. In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Crumble beef and pork over mixture and mix well. Place meatballs on a greased rack in a shallow baking pan. It is by far the best homemade sauce and meatballs we have ever had.
