Neither the pine nuts nor the sunflower seeds spoke to me so I omitted them. I preferred not to cook the peas with the rice, which in my opinion would have overcooked them. Transfer rice to a medium saucepan and add all ingredients except peas and cilantro. Bring to a boil, cover and lower to a simmer. Fluff rice with a fork and transfer to a serving.
