  7. Get 2 eggs

  9. Get 1 tsp cumin powder

Place a karai on a medium heat stove and add some oil in the karai. Once the oil is hot, coat the katlesi ball with the beaten egg and fry it, once one side is cooked, gently flip the katlesi to the other side and continue cooking. Wash the fish fillet, pat it dry with paper towels, and lay it flat in the dish, skin side down. Place one, skin-side down, centered on top of each potato raft.

Instructions to make Fish and potato katlesi:
  1. In a bowl mash the potatoes and set aside
  2. In a pan, cook the onion, bell pepper, garlic and fresh dhania in a little oil
  3. Mince the boiled fish and add into the above mixture
  4. Add the spices and cook for a few minutes and put off heat
  5. Add the mixture onto the mashed potatoes and mix in well
  6. Using your hands mould about one and half tbsp of the mixture into desired shapes
  7. In a separate bowl, break the eggs for coating your katlesi then coat your katlesi as you deep fry on medium heat
  8. Serve with desired dips

Scatter the capers atop the fish and around the pan. Classic potato skins taste great fried, but this recipe makes them even easier by baking in the oven. Scoop out the insides, rub a little olive oil on the skin and potato flesh, then top it all off with sour cream, bacon, and cheddar cheese, making them melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
