Steps to make Tomato Upma:
  1. First make the puree of tomato and squeeze it tomato. Add water to it and bring to a boil.
  2. Take a pan to heat. Add oil and mustard seeds let it splutter. Then add 1 spoon urad dal and 7-8 curry leaves. Then add mix vegetables and saute for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Now add and roast semolina in it. And when done, add tomato water. Saute with speed till no lumps. Add chilli and salt. Saute for few minutes. Now take in a plate and garnish it.

Upma is basically roasted semolina cooked in tempered water. I know, I know that does not sound appetizing. Tomato Upma Recipe is a delicious upma made using tangy tomatoes, with some heat from the green chillies. It is easy to make and is a very perfect breakfast option for the busy days.
