  6. Transfer the mix into a greased tray and put the peeled almond and bake it 160° for 40minutes.when done pour the syrup onto it immediately and cut as shown below

The coconut flavor stood out like someone else has mentioned too which was a big plus point and it wasn;t too cakey- just the right amount of baking powder.
