Chocolate Oatmeal is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. They are fine and they look fantastic. Chocolate Oatmeal is something which I have loved my entire life.

A nice change from flavoring or sweetening your oatmeal with brown sugar or maple syrup. I don't let chance dictate whether my day gets off to a good start. I'd rather make sure it'll be a good day… by consuming chocolate first thing.

  1. Take milk
  2. Take Quaker Ready to eat Oats
  3. Prepare cocoa powder
  4. Take sugar/honey
  5. Prepare salt

  8. Make ready chopped Cashew nut and almonds

As an adult, chocolate for breakfast is a pretty darn good thing too. That's why I was happy to find this much healthier version of chocolate oatmeal in my friend Amy's cookbook, Healthier Chocolate Treats. In a saucepan over high heat, place the rolled oats and salt. And going to have this chocolate oatmeal for breakfast this morning.

Instructions to make Chocolate Oatmeal:
  1. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium flame. Add a pinch of salt to it.
  2. Reduce heat and add oats, cocoa and sugar/honey.
  3. Stir occasionally till the consistency of the milk starts to thicken. If you do not like your oats to be of a thicker consistency then turn off the flame as soon as the oats get cooked.
  4. If you prefer having your oatmeal of a thick consistency and thoroughly cooked, then continue stirring for another 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from flame and serve in bowls. Garnish with chocolate chips, berries, and chopped nuts. You may add fresh fruits of your choice.

I will add collagen since i learned about it from you and have been adding it to coffee at times so far. Still have not tried the single serve pecan pie. Call these "Chocolate with some oatmeal for bulk cookies" and you won't be far off. Still all in all a decent cookie. After reading many of the posts I too decided to make as a bar cookie and added the following raisins dried cranberries pecans a teaspoon of molasses a dash of pumpkin.
