  7. Get 250 g Flour
  8. Prepare Salt

Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water, pour on top of liver and onions. Cover and simmer on low until onions are tender and broth forms a thin gravy. Strip and slice the chilled liver. Add meat seasoning, salt, black pepper, soy sauce and garlic.

Steps to make Braised Liver:
  1. Assemble all the required ingredients
  2. Cut the liver into desired sections
  3. Place the cut liver in a bowl
  4. Marinate the liver pieces using black pepper, vinegar, salt and vegetable oil
  5. Cover the liver and set it aside/place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  6. This would actually enhance the marination
  7. Meanwhile, chop the onions into cubes
  8. Grate/Blend the tomatoes finely. This is the tomato puree
  9. Place the vegetable oil in a braising pan and let it to heat
  10. Season the flour with a pinch of black pepper and salt
  11. Remove the liver from the refrigerator
  12. Pass the liver pieces through the seasoned flour
  13. Ensure that the flour covers the liver pieces completely
  14. Check if the vegetable oil is hot enough
  15. Deep fry the liver pieces until golden brown
  16. In a separate pan, sweat the onions
  17. The onions should be pinkish
  18. Add in the tomato puree into the pan containing the onions
  19. Stir in and let it cook for 3minutes
  20. Add in the tomato paste
  21. The tomato paste helps in thickening the puree and embracing an appealing colour
  22. Add in the deep fried liver into the puree
  23. Let it cook for about 5 minutes
  24. Correct the seasoning
  25. Serve while warm with Butter -nut Chapatti
  26. Enjoy your meal

Stir to ensure all the seasonings are properly distributed. Soak in milk for one hour. Remove from milk and dredge in flour/salt mixture. Saute in hot oil until browned on all sides. Remove onions and set aside on top of liver.
