  1. In a pan heat oil or butter add cashew nuts mustard seeds cuminseeds, green chilli,curry leaves.when cracking sound it means they are getting hooked now add green chilli curry leaves and rava.
  2. Now add suji.cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame until rava cook.
  3. Add hot water,salt, chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, lemon juice.
  4. The rover cranes absorb water and the square and get hooked quickly steal them so that lamps are not formed cover and allowed tomato upma to steam for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame and switch off the flame rava is cooked and the tomato upma is ready.lastly add chop coriander leaves mix again.
  5. Serve with upma chutney

Upma is basically roasted semolina cooked in tempered water. I know, I know that does not sound appetizing.
