The ingredients needed to make Naan:
  1. Get 3 cups flour
  2. Make ready 1 cup water
  3. Prepare 1/2 tablspn salt

Remove the naan from the skillet, brush with a bit of butter and sprinkle with a little coarse sea salt. Place the naan in a tea towel-lined dish.

Steps to make Naan:
  1. Method: - In a mixer, add all the ingredients except water. - Mix for a minute then add the water and mix well.
  2. You should have a soft but pliable dough. - Cover the dough and let it rise. - Once risen, divide the dough into balls.
  3. Roll each ball into a circle shape like chapati and on each one circle gently pull one end to give it an circle shape.
  4. Cook the naan on a non stick frying pan without adding any oil or ghee. Cook the naans on medium high heat.
  5. Cook both sides of the naan and try to avoid pressing on them.
  6. Once both sides are cooked, remove from the stove and apply butter on top of them. serve them with hot tea.

Repeat with the rest of the naans and serve. Naan is a traditional flat bread from India, while pita bread is eaten in the Mediterranean and Middle East. Pita is made with a very simple dough, using just flour, salt, yeast, and olive oil, while naan dough has ingredients like yogurt and egg that help keep it soft and fluffy. Naan is a flatbread found in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and other surrounding countries. Naan is served for dipping or stuffed with a variety of meats and vegetables.
