To make this fantastic basa fish curry, you will need fresh basa fish fillets (or thawed frozen fillets), ginger paste, tomato paste, Greek or natural yogurt, curry powder, onion, garlic cloves, chili, curry powder, garam masala, salt and pepper. Add the fish fillets, turning to coat. Sprinkle with lemon juice, curry, cayenne, garlic, Mrs. Drizzle melted butter over the top.

  1. Season fish with, salt, curry powder, white pepper,garlic and set aside. You may do this overnight and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Gather and prepare all the other ingredients
  3. In a medium skillet or usual pot, heat 3-4 tbsps of cooking oil. Add onions, followed by minced garlic,ginger, thyme, curry powder and bay leaf, stir for about 2-3 minutes for the flavors to blossom
  4. Add tomatoes cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in coconut milk and water, continue cooking for about 3-5 minutes. Then throw in hot pepper, if using any, bell pepper, basil leaves and smoked paprika.
  6. Add the fish to the pot. Bring to boil, salt and cook for about 15 minutes or till well cooked
  7. Adjust sauce thickness and seasoning with water or broth. Serve warm😊🤤

Lay out the fillets in a baking pan. Combine the milk, salt, pepper, cayenne and turmeric and pour it over the fish. Take the fish out of the milk, reserving it, and coat it completely with the bread crumbs.
