Boulanee, also spelled as Bolani is a Farsi name for 'stuffed bread' and is a kind of flatbread from Afghanistan. This is once again a vegan flatbread and depending on what kind of fillings we use, the names of the flatbread differs. Boulanee Katchalu, is a potato filled flatbread and this was one of my kids favorite yet.

Bolani Chapati is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Bolani Chapati is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can have bolani chapati using 11 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

Chapati (alternatively spelled chapatti, chappati, chapathi, or chappathi; pronounced as IAST: capātī, capāṭī, cāpāṭi), also known as roti, safati, shabaati, phulka and (in the Maldives) roshi, is an unleavened flatbread originating from the Indian subcontinent and staple in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East Africa and the Caribbean. The Persian word nān 'bread' is attested in Middle Persian as n'n 'bread, food', which is of Iranian origin, and is a cognate with Parthian ngn, Kurdish nan, Balochi nagan, Sogdian nγn-, and Pashto nəγan 'bread'. Naan may have derived from bread baked on hot pebbles in ancient Persia. Bolani is an Afghan stuffed flatbread, not too different from the Indian stuffed parathas I grew up with.

Steps to make Bolani Chapati:
  1. Peel and Wash all the ingredients as need be. Grate the carrots, cucumber, onion. Chop the dhania into small pieces. Crush the turmeric and the garlic. Put them all in one large bowl.
  2. Add to the vegetables a teaspoon of salt and sugar. As desired for your taste.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of oil and mix well the ingredients.
  4. Add flour, to make a dough. Once you have a fine dough, put it a side for 20 minutes.
  5. Start dividing the dough into small portion sizes for the chapati.
  6. Cook your bolani chapati one by one.
  7. The bolani chapati can go well with any stew! Enjoy the meal.

Except that parathas have layers of fat worked into the dough, and while you can stuff the breads whatever veggie or lentil filling you desire, the most popular fillings vary between the two cuisines. Roll it like chapati and heat a griddle, put the prepared roti on it and then grease some oil on it. Now add the prepared stuffing in center and then spread it all over the chapati by using spoon. Do not spread it in corners. Now fold it as shown in the picture.
