Peel and chop the potatoes very finely. Place in a bowl, cover with cold water, and leave until ready to fry. To make the batter, mix the chickpea flour, turmeric, chili powder, pepper, salt bicarbonate of soda, chillies, and coriander. Bhajias are a fantastic snack and are loved the world over.

Instructions to make Bhajia:

  2. Wash and chop them into small piece crush the garlic and grate ginger
  3. In a clean bowl mix the your spices together, add egg yellow, salt, curry powder and your gram flour
  4. Add one cup of water
  5. Mix to achieve a nice consistency
  6. Heat your deep frying oil in a clean pan
  7. Scoop each mixture with a spoon as you deep into the heated oil to get the nice golden brown you like
  8. Serve to enjoy
